Mr. Ruppe is a graduate of Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, with a B.S. in Business Management and a MBA. Mr. Ruppe has over 40 years of experience in the business of sports, fitness, wellness, and technology. He became a significant leader at Nike over his 27 years at the company. This included periods of time overseeing all emerging businesses for the brand. During that period, he worked with Dr. Reichow to bring him to Nike to explore the potential business that could emerge in Performance Vision. Nike MaxSight was one of a suite of products launched.

Post his time at Nike, Mr. Ruppe became CEO of a start-up effort focused on mindset training, which is still in the market today as Finding Mastery, and had executive roles at Under Armour and Columbia Sportswear.

Mr. Ruppe was the first person at Nike to wear test what would ultimately become Nike MaxSight. Though he did not need a vision correction, he immediately realized the potential of this product concept.
