Joseph E. Sicari is a seasoned executive with 38 years of global leadership experience in the vision products industry. A graduate of The College of William & Mary with additional studies at Oxford University, he has successfully led start-ups, turnarounds, and high-growth ventures across a variety of optical product segments.

Mr. Sicari became President of Paragon Vision Sciences in 1992 and acquired the company in 1994 with Summit Partners. In 2002, he led the launch of Paragon CRT, the first FDA-approved orthokeratology contact lens. After selling Paragon to CooperVision in 2017, he partnered with Dr. Reichow to address the need for a single-use version of the MaxSight lens, resulting in the launch of ALTIUS®.
